My name is Beth McNally, vocal music teacher at Wines Elementary. I grew up in New Jersey playing piano and string instruments. I also enjoyed singing in school and church choirs from 1^st grade on. I majored in piano and music education at Ithaca College, and earned a Masters of Music Education from the University of Michigan.

I taught music in Connecticut and Ohio before moving to Ann Arbor, where I've been teaching since 1999. I can say without hesitation that Wines is my favorite school, and it's because of the kids and their families. The Wines community is the best!

My favorite after-school activities include singing in the UMS Choral Union, which performs choral masterpieces with the Detroit Symphony, A2SO and other orchestras. I also serve on the Board of Directors of the Ann Arbor Youth Chorale.
