Chris Erickson has been a teacher since 2004, focusing on English and history in a variety of contexts. Mr. Erickson taught at an IB school on the east coast outside of Washington D.C., worked at a college-access non-profit in Austin, Texas, and moved back to Ann Arbor in 2010. He holds an undergraduate degree from The University of Michigan in English and history and also has a graduate degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. He is IB certified in MYP, DP Literature, CAS and Service Learning. In his free time he enjoys riding his bicycle, archival research, musical pursuits, linguistics and languages, backpacking, and traveling.  He is a National Board Certified Teacher and a Global Learning Fellow.
